30-Days Photo-A-Day Challenge.
Day 30: Water.
The FINAL set of photos for the project! I hope that everyone will like/appreciate the photos I have taken for the whole 30 days. I enjoyed every minute of it and I am very proud to call this one of my greatest accomplishments. I put out a challenge to myself and I slayed it. BIG shout out to those who were involved in the project: Thank you to my models - Fizzy, Ella, Jenny, Kjetil and Chand! Thank you to my assistants - Dixon (in-studio) and my MOTHER for being so patient throwing the ice over and over again for the final shoot! Thank you to my friends, fans and followers of the project for your kind and encouraging words! Without each and everyone of you, this project wouldn’t be a success so THANK YOU!
My scars. (above) Self-inflicted. (below) Surgical. My scars, every single one of them tells a story. They each remind me of a time, a time I would consider my “black period”. Together, the form a memory of the darkest time in my life I would never want to relive. This is the first time I have ever let the world see my scars, I have always been ashamed. But ashamed, why should I be? Because my scars, they are my medals. My medals for conquering the black period. Proud of myself, I am. Proud of myself to have gone through depression and a bone illness that will stay with me forever. Proud of myself for going through hell and back.
I came into the shoot with a different vision, didn’t get what I wanted because I sucked too much. Got to make do with what I have, regardless. Special shout-out to my model Chand for being such a good sport by turning up at the very last minute after my original model backed out on me. Thanks a million, Chand, I don’t know what I’d do without you! <3
